[Peakoil] Survival 101

Given Alex's last email it looks like we might soon be heading down the
slippery slope of economic decline so it might be a good idea to look at a
proposal I was discussing with some people in Melbourne last weekend about a
two day conference on survival.

Now running or attending a conference like this for its own sake would
possibly be a good thing, but I see the potential for using the advertising
of the event to wake people up about the need to do something on oil peak
and climate change

Posters with messages like

"End of Oil/ Climate Change best case a global depression, worst social
collapse; your government have failed you; will you be prepared????"

Might wake people up

If we get the Melbourne up and running would people be in terested in
duplicating it here.
