That could actually work out in the interests of the poorer countries as
they'll be forced to powerdown first.

Possible future scenarios could include the brains from the richer
countries (now) jumping ship to poorer countries that have been through
their crash and are recovering sustainably, thus bolsering their numbers
and expertise.

Cuba here I come!  :)
