Continued discussion on school closures. It seems that many parents
will need to drive children further and that the government has not
explicitly looked at the bussing alternatives. I saw one report that
the Tharwa bridge is not strong enough to take buses. I don't think
Hall has an Action bus service at all.

off. On the other hand it's better that China burn gas rather than
coal or petroleum.

Comment could be made that a large oil input is needed in the form of
fuel for farm machinery and feedstock for fertilisers and pesticides
to grow food and the energy input exceeds the energy in the food by
over a factor of five.
