[Peakoil] Shale oil in Australia

BUT to turn it into something useful you need hydrogen which at the  
moment comes from natural gas and you need a lots of petrol to run  
the machinery to mine it and electricity to process it. So the EROEI  
is not too good.
A good subject for a letter to the editor methinks.
