NUCLEAR NO SOLUTION Public Interest Forum 

Wednesday June 14 6pm

 

ACT Legislative Assembly Reception Room, London Circuit Civic, hosted by ACT
Greens MLA Dr Deb Foskey and CRANC (Canberra Region Anti Nuclear Campaign). 

Tea coffee and nibbles, all welcome. 

 

Speakers:

 

*	Dr Jim Green, the national anti nuclear campaigner for Friends of
the Earth and author of the report “Nuclear Power No Solution To Climate
Change”, which can be downloaded from http://www.foe.org.au/nc/nc_nuke.htm.
Dr Green will discuss the nuclear and Climate Change debate; 

*	Dr Christine Milne, Greens Senator will offer a Federal
Parliamentarian’s perspective on the terms of the Inquiry that has been set
up regarding “Review of Uranium Mining Processing and Nuclear Energy in
Australia”; 

*	David Noonan, ACF nuclear campaigner will talk about latest
developments and uranium mining; 

*	Dr Deb Foskey, Greens MLA in the ACT will introduce the evening and
the local group CRANC will speak briefly bout getting involved in the
campaign 

 

There will be time for questions and moderated discussion. For more
