Diesels loom large in Audi's plans for sales in Australia.

Comment: The seems to be a shift towards diesels because of their  
higher fuel efficiency which the Europeans have long known because of  
their higher fuels prices. Couple that with SUV sales dropping and  
compacts and bicycles rising and you have a pattern.
