A San-Diego engineering company is planning to build and sell a
revolutionary hybrid car that will achieve 330mpg.

Accelerated Composites has designed a two-seat passenger car that it
says will achieve up to 330mpg and sell for under $20,000. The
lightweight composite, hybrid car will post this fuel efficiency in
normal city and highway driving and have acceleration and handling
similar to that of a Honda Insight.

Called the Aptera, its optimised aerodynamics will give it an
aerodynamic drag factor that will be lower than any mass-produced car
in the world.
