[Peakoil] Ethanol on 666 this morning

Hi folks,

On 666 this morning there was discussion about ethanol, it was pleasing to 
hear some members of the public ringing up and expressing skepticism about 
its environmental benefits after the two experts (one of whom I think is 
working for the grains council) were on air advocating it to different 
extents.

One caller, Matt, said ethanol's alleged benefits wee scientifically 
dubious at best and possibly fraudulent in terms of CO2 emissions from the 
distillation process.
