Climate Change – Australian Impacts, Local Opportunities

How will climate change and Australia interact? Dr Geiselhart is one of the Al Gore/Australian Conservation Foundation trainees on the Climate Project. She will look at current predictions about the impact of climate change on Australia, and local initiatives and opportunities for response. She will also present recent developments in climate change and its overall context as a global issue, including a look at the interim Garnaut report.

Dr Geiselhart is a former public sector journalist, and her research background includes a PhD on democratic applications of interactive technologies and a post-doctoral research fellowship in E-Business.
