IMPORTANT EVENT:

ANU CLIMATE CHANGE DAY FESTIVAL
Week 3 - Wednesday 2nd August
10am to 3pm in UNION COURT

12:30 WILL STEFFEN, Australia's leading Climate Change scientist and
head of the Centre for Resource and Environmental Studies and the ANU
Institute for Environment speaks

1:30 Federal Greens Senator CHRISTINE MILNE speaks

2:00 Climate Change Debate in God's Cafe

FieldForce will be giving out free Enviro Bags worth $100, including
energy efficient lightbulbs and showerheads which save $80 or more
annually.

There'll also be a free BBQ, continuous live music, Korean food, the
Wilderness Society, Greenpeace, ANUGreen, campaigns to help with and
the Bruce Hall solar panel engineers.

A debate on climate change on the topic "Should the UN enforce a
carbon tax?" will be run by the Debating Society at the God's Cafe at
2pm.
