Walk Against Warming

Walk Against Warming is an annual community event in support of the Kyoto protocol.
Where: meet 12 noon Civic Square, Legislative Assembly
What: a fun walk through Civic to Glebe Park for a picnic with speakers, entertainment and stalls
Why: Join the growing movement demanding deep cuts in greenhouse gas emissions through:

• Renewable energy
• Energy efficiency
• Better public transport.
This day of climate action coincides with UN talks and events all around the world.
Bring: Family, friends, kids, bikes, banners, colorful umbrellas, sunflowers, placards, and picnic lunch.
