The Nuclear Comeback - Nuclear power currently
supplies 16 per cent of the world's energy. For the remainder, we rely heavily
on the burning of fossil fuels. In Australia, 80 per cent of its electricity
comes from the burning of coal alone. Nuclear power, however, has significant
environmental benefits. It produces radically low levels of carbon emissions and
suddenly, in the face of climate change, the view on nuclear power is being
explored and welcomed more and more. (From Sweden, in English, Russian and
Swedish, English subtitles) (Documentary)
<A
