                        ANU Energy News

This month we're delighted to announce an $8 million partnership with the ACT Government that will enable the ANU Energy Change Institute to establish a leading edge Battery Storage and Integration research program. We'll be carrying out an international search for an outstanding leader to build this new program.

And a reminder to please save the date for our annual flagship energy event, ANU Energy Update, which will take place at ANU from 8.30am-7pm on Tuesday 29th November. Highlights will include a presentation by the International Energy Agency on their 2016 World Energy Outlook, released just a couple of weeks before. The Deputy Director of the ITER program, the international fusion energy facility being built in Cardarache, France will also be presenting. In the evening we'll be hosting the ANU / ACT Government Solar Oration, featuring Jeremy Leggett, Chair of Carbon Tracker.

More information and registration details will be circulated shortly.

                        Regards
