Oil giant Shell announces bid to drill off Ningaloo Reef
The economic battle between Western Australia's natural and resource-rich environs is set for a showdown over a bid by one of the world's biggest resources company to explore for oil and gas 48 kilometres off the pristine Ningaloo Reef.
