[Peakoil] Western nations release more oil

Well, that's about two day's consumption, so the impact will be political, not purely economic. Current global reserve stocks amount to about 4.1 billion barrels, so they've released about 1/70th of their reserves. As oil prices have been falling over the past few weeks, this move is - to me - both odd and oddly-timed.
