President bush plans to cut the US use of petrol by 20%  by 2017.

Comment: So should we! We are past our peak and as a consequence oil  
imports are going up rapidly. The next price spike for oil will hurt  
as will a drop in the dollar. the government's response has been to  
put a fairly small sum into oil exploration....
