Hi folks,

The Transition Town concept offers a way to involve the whole community in
transitioning to a less energy-intensive society.

I went to a training weekend recently, I found it a very refreshing approach.

There is a social get-together on Nov 15, please come along!

 The Canberra Environment Centre would like to invite you to come and share conversation, 
ideas and local organic food in a relaxing and friendly environment. 
WHEN: SUNDAY 15 NOVEMBER 
WHERE: CANBERRA ENVIRONMENT & SUSTAINABILITY RESOURCE CENTRE, LENNOX 
CROSSING, ACTON 
TIME: 4 PM ‐6 PM (3.45 PM ARRIVAL FOR 4 PM START)

PURPOSE  
        To invite the two October TT training groups and others to meet each other and build 
        relationships 
        To share idea’s and plans for the next Canberra Transition Initiative before Christmas 
DRAFT AGENDA 
        3.45pm Arrive  
        4pm Welcome – Share stories of our journey ‐ groups of 3 (people you do not know) 
        4.20pm Open space activity – What could we create to run a Transition Canberra 
        initiative before Christmas & who would we invite 
        5pm Share dinner 
        6.30pm Clean up  
         
     PLEASE BRING WITH YOU A PLATE OF LOCAL ORGANIC 
                          FOOD TO SHARE FOR DINNER
