Public Lecture - Visiting Germany's "Solar City"

Pete Gorton will present his recollections and a swag of photos from his recent trip to Freiburg – the German ‘Solar City’, in the Black Forest – the south western corner of Germany, close to both France and Switzerland. It’s the home of the International Solar Energy Society (ISES), leading solar architect Rolf Disch and Vauban - a truly solar/sustainable, medium-density suburb. Pete was in Freiburg for his first ISES Board of Directors meeting (and he’ll also provide a VERY quick summary of the meeting.)
