Topic: Are We Running Out of Oil?

Speaker: Lyn Martin - Senior Research Analyst in the Bureau of
Transport and Regional Economics and member of the Deputy Prime
Minister's research group analysing transport and regional issues.

Lyn's professional career has been extremely varied; evaluating water
projects; fisheries management programs; formulating the role of the
government in the arts; rural research; in specific programs such as the
Brucellosis and Tuberculosis Eradication Campaign, and the
Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme. More recently, Lyn has worked on issues
relating to the external costs of transport with particular interest in
greenhouse policy options for transport and congestion pricing.
