Hi all,

Apologies for the late notice, but strictly speaking the annual membership
fee of $10 for ACT Peak Oil is due before July 1. However payment of the
fee prior to the AGM we will hold in July will entitle you to participate
(as you would technically be re-joining, which is fine).

ACT Peak Oil has been quiet of late however in part due to the lower oil
price. Nonetheless there is a wide recognition in policy discussions of
the problem of oil decline.

There will be many emerging and ongoing issues related to this, such as
infrastructure priorities in transport, ensuring food security and the
devolution of electricity supplies. We will need to put forward views on
these matters.
