[ACTPO Members] Survey of ACT candidates

Hi folks,

Sorry not much has happened of late. I have been busy with work and a death
in the family.

We should prepare a survey for candidates in the upcoming ACT election. They
will be quite busy, but hopefully not too busy to engage on this vital issue.

In terms of actually getting a policy implemented, in my experience it is
the individual politician with a real interest in an issue that gets the
most done. Often, party platforms and policies are not that useful for
working out who is going to make a difference for the better. I think it is
fair to say Mick Gentleman and his success with the FiT exemplifies this.

I'm not sure how to frame the questions - open-ended with an opportunity for
respondents to demonstrate their knowledge in the field beyond mere
platitudes, or leading questions more designed to subtly educate? A bit of both?
